Francesco was a fantastic host who was helpful and kind. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The view from the apartment was beautiful and I would have loved to spend more time here. Francesco started taking care of our holiday from the moment we booked his apartment. Every detail had been carefully thought through to make our arrival, stay and departure as comfortable as possible. He provided plenty of recommendations on what to visit, where to eat etc.The generous welcome basket was thoughtful touch- we greatly appreciated it! Francesco was also a genuinely lovely person, with a great sense of humour and a pleasure to chat with. The apartment was spacious, very clean and well-equipped. The several balconies and incredible view made our stay enjoyable, and the generous left everybody room for some privacy also. Its location was convinient also. The apartment is just a couple of minutes’ walk from the town centre, and the beautiful sandy beach can also be reached on foot (about 15 minutes) or you can use transfer as well. We had a fantastic stay in Castellammare del Golfo. The home was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring the marina, the town, and the nearby beaches. The apartment is actually much bigger than it looks in the photos, with plenty of space to relax. Francesco was an amazing host — he welcomed us with a fridge full of water, wine, beer, juices, and pastries, which was such a thoughtful touch after a long travel day. His local recommendations made our trip even better, and communication was always quick and helpful. Ett helt fantastiskt semesterboende i en fantastisk liten stad på Scicilien. Bo här! Värden Francesco var helt fenomenal. Så trevlig och hjälpsam. Lägenheten är stor och mysig. Francesco var otroligt engagerad och service minded som värd. Han försökte hela tiden hjälpa till och ordna med tips, bokningar, transporter och annat, och svarade snabbt på frågor. En mycket varm och hjälpsam person som verkligen ville att gäster ska trivas. Lägenheten var rymlig och välplanerad och hade magisk utsikt ut över bukten. Vi hade alla möjliga bekvämligheter med AC, extra fläktar, handdukar etc och det kändes som hemma. I could not give a positive enough recommendation for this property and by extension any property managed by Francesco. As stated in other reviews, he was quite simply far and away the best host I’ve ever had in my dozens of times using Airbnb. He arranged pickup for us from the train station and helped us arrange an early morning taxi to the airport. He was supremely flexible and helpful with thoughtful personalized service. Very communicative and repsonsive to any question. We loved the view and the apartment was easy walking distance to restaurants and the marina and 15 minutes walk from the lido. The apartment was extremely well equipped - plenty of towels, comfortable sleeping spaces, and things you always want but often don’t get - such as a beach umbrella and mats for the beach. We loved Francesco and his apartment! He is the best super host we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. So welcoming, friendly and helpful. His place was in a great location, is comfortable, airy, very clean and bright, with a beautiful ocean view. There were great restaurants, beaches and shops within walking distance. Francesco was the absolute best host! He met us at the apt at night (he arranged our transportation from the station), had a welcome gift, gave us a tour and many recommendations for our stay! The apt was super roomy, all the terraces had gorgeous views of the sea and mountains. Super close to the shops, restaurants and beautiful beaches. He checked in on us and secured a private tour at his cousins winery (Funaro, an absolutely must do!). We had a wonderful time at Francesco’s spacious and spotless apartment in Castellammare del Golfo. The location is perfect—just steps from the sea—and the views from the four balconies over the sea and mountains are absolutely breathtaking.Francesco is an outstanding host. He welcomed us with wine, beer, water, snacks, and delicious local pastries, and provided excellent tips before and during our stay. He helped us find free parking near the apartment and even guided us to a spot in Palermo so we could attend an FC Palermo match. We truly loved staying in his apartment and exploring the charming town of Castellammare, the stunning beach at San Vito Lo Capo, and the vibrant city of Palermo. Vorrei poter dare 6 stelle a questo alloggio e a Francesco che si è rivelato un Superhost che,veramente, può fare la differenza in una vacanza.Sempre presente, attento ad ogni esigenza,molto reattivo, reperibile in breve tempo per ogni necessità,molto cordiale e pieno di indicazioni e suggerimenti. Ci ha accolto di persona con beni di 1' necessità(latte,biscotti,olio,sale,pepe,zucchero,caffè, the),bottiglie d acqua,1 bottiglia di vino e le cassatelle...buonissime!L appartamento è molto ampio,luminoso, arioso,molto pulito,al 4' piano con ascensore,con una vista mozzafiato sul mare e montagne.È a soli 10' minuti a piedi da centro,lungomare,tanti negozi e ristoranti (1 di fianco e un altro a 5' a piedi).L alloggio è fornito di tutto quello che può servire per sentirsi a casa..stoviglie,prodotti per pulizia,materassi con comodi topper,cuscini,coperte in quantità,ottime lenzuola,armadi con tanto spazio.Che dire..consigliamo di certo questo alloggio per una vacanza al top.Grazie Francesco!
